Sophie Greidanus

Sophie has been not only an artist, but a teller of tall tales since kindergarten. Her art career started in 2nd grade, when her still life of sunflowers was selected for display in a local urgent care centre. Even earlier was her fore into storytelling, with such hits as "A Polar Bear Lives in My Fridge" and "My Dad is a Zookeeper" (her 1st grade teacher would find out at the parent/teacher conference her dad was actually a pilot).

17 years later, Sophie is a graduate of MTM College's Illustration for Storytelling program, specializing in comics and merchandise design. She has a special flair for absurdist concept, 80's pop culture and vivid colour.

 

Sophie loves to roller skate and swim, and her taste in movies is immaculate (and no one has disagreed about this ever).
